About Dr. Ward

Dr. Ward has experienced a deep background in both physical and biological sciences which accounts for his no-nonsense approach to nutrition.  

He studied at DePauw University majoring in mathematics and chemistry before transferring to Georgia Tech.  He then went on to graduate from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Geology and also satisfied course work for the Premed requirement. That same year, he was offered a position with the U.S. Naval Oceanographic Office in Washington D.C. as a Research Oceanographer. Dr. Ward continued his studies in Marine Geophysics at American University.  

Leaving Government service, Dr. Ward attended Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (LACC) where he was senior class president and graduated with high honors. He remained as an Assistant Professor of Physiology until he moved into private practice.  

Dr. Ward earned his  Masters Degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. During this time, Dr. Ward was able to study with some of the giants of biochemistry such as Broda Barnes, M.D., Ph.D., the father of functional Thyroid research. Dr. Ward is also a graduate from the Functional Medicine University (FMU).  

To date, Dr. Ward continues to refine nutritional diagnostics reflecting all the latest university research.
